Exhibitions are proven to generate more sales prospects per spend than almost any other form of marketing or promotional activity. Even in the new age of technology led communication, social media and the mobile internet, face to face interactions are still key to fostering profitable business relationships.
Aided by their ‘live’ nature, exhibitions are the only promotional media offering the following benefits:
Visitors come to the AFRICA AUTOMATION FAIR 2019 to:
The scope of Africa Automation Fair 2019 has evolved with the inclusion of the Industry 4.0 / industrial internet of things(IIoT), an exciting outcome of the digital revolution that is changing the way we live and work. Many organisations already focus on how to benefit from it, but extracting maximum value requires a big data approach. AAF 2019 will be the platform where industrial automation and this digital revolution converge; and where operations technology and information technology blend together to become more intelligent.
Further expanding on the theme of the Fourth Industrial Revolutions, Africa Automation Fair 2019, as in 2017, will co-locate the Connected Industries conference, the first conference of its kind in Africa. The conference offers a comprehensive progamme, looking at the global economic impact of the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” on the South African Economy as well as looking at the technology behind the revolution and the impact it will have on efficiency and quality, as well as infrastructural requirements.
Day 3 of the conference moves to the floor of Africa Automation Fair where the Industrie 4.0 / IIoT exhibitors will be doing supplier/vendor presentations in the 3 theatres on the floor of the exhibition.

At Reed Exhibitions we pride ourselves on being innovative and responding to the needs of the markets and we develop our shows based on feedback from our valued exhibitors and visitors. Our ambition is to further our expertise and improve the show, so we will be presenting you with a survey at the end of the show, which will gives us valuable insights into your business objectives and needs. The survey includes a number of questions but the most valuable to us is whether you would promote the show to a colleague or a friend. We call this the Net Promoter Score.
80% of referrals in business are from word of mouth, so the NPS is a crucial metric for us to understand if we are producing a show that our exhibitors find valuable and beneficial enough to promote to their peers. The question is posed as a rating between 0 and 10, you need to know that ratings of 9 or 10 are considered to be that you would refer the show to a friend or colleague, and ratings under 6 are considered not likely to promote it, and the final category is ratings of 7 and 8 are indecisive.
We hope that you will take the time to complete the survey after the show so that we are able to improve the value it has to your business and other business for future shows.
